The Harrisburg YMCA, Harrisburg Parks & Recreation and the Harrisburg Rotary are partnering to present the 16th Annual Run the 'Burg 5K. The race will be at the New Harrisburg Park.

July 4, 2026 - Run White Blue 7.4K or 7.4 Miler
Join us for the 9th annual Run White & Blue 7.4 event on July 4, 2026, in Huntersville, NC. This event supports military veteran and first responder organizations in the Lake Norman region of North Carolina. Our returning beneficiaries are Purple Heart Homes and Firefighters' Burned Children Fund.
June 13, 2026 - Healthy Achievement 10K/5K/Ruck Challenge
The Healthy Achievement 5K / 10K / Ruck Challenge is a family friendly event. You don’t have to be a runner to participate – you most certainly can walk the course and enjoy the health fair after you finish! Rucking is simply a weighted vest / backpack.

Charlotte North Carolina’s FASTEST 5k event. This fantastic 5k course winds through some of the most beautiful and iconic avenues in Charlotte’s historic Dilworth neighborhood.
September 19, 2026 - Hit The Brixx 10K & 6K (Rea Road)
Charlotte North Carolina’s TASTIEST Run! You won’t want to miss the 2026 Hit the Brixx 10K/6K and Kids kilometer presented by Novant Health at Rea Road. There’s Brixx pizza and pasta at the finish! Proceeds from this event benefit the Kid’s Path program at VIA Health Partners (formerly Hospice & Palliative Care, Charlotte Region.)
October - Gourdy’s Pumpkin Run and Tough Pumpkin Challenge (Virtual)
Gourdy’s Pumpkin Run is a race that celebrates the autumn season. Gourdy’s Pumpkin Run is designed to be a stress-free, casual and fun whether you run, walk, skip, or jog. Add on the Tough Pumpkin® challenge and run with a pumpkin. After you cross the finish line, you’ll receive the exclusive Tough Pumpkin medal in addition to your regular finisher medal!

After the race, cool down and indulge in a post-race mini feast featuring food, drinks, games and music. Sickle Cell Partners of the Carolinas (SCPOC) is a non‐profit 501c (3) tax exempt organization that exists to "partner" with anyone working to make a difference in the lives of patients and families affected by Sickle Cell Disease. The University City Turkey Trot benefits patients and families affected by this hereditary illness.
September 6, 2026 - Around the Crown
To complete the 10K, runners will meander through the streets of uptown Charlotte, the Southeast’s fastest growing city. The highway only closes down one time a year and it’s for thousands of runners to take up all lanes of the Queen City’s inner beltway. The finish festival will take participants from the Queen City’s most stunning race to a party with refreshments and activities for all ages. Once you’ve taken 277 medal selfies, head to the official after party at NoDa Brewing for a taste of some Jogger Lager, our local craft beer!
